Macro-economic indicators of economic and social development of the country in January-November, 2015

During January-November, 2015 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in amount of 50.1 milliard manat or more than 3.1% compared to the corresponding period of the last year was produced by the enterprises and organizations and natural entities operating in the country. 33.7% of GDP was established in industry, 13.7% in construction, 9.9% in trade; maintenance of transport means, 5.9% in agriculture, forestry, fishery, 5.5% in transport and warehouse, 2.7% in accommodation of tourists and public catering, 2.0% in in information and communication and 18.7% in other fields. Net of tax to the product and import was formed 7.9% of GDP. Volume of GDP on per capita increased by 1.9% and it was equal to 5255.5 manat.
In January-November, 2015 industrial products in amount of 24.0 milliard manat or more than 3.0% compared with the corresponding period of the last year were produced by industrial enterprises and natural entities engaged in this field.
62.4% of industry product was produced in mining sector, 29.5% in processing sector, 7.2% in distribution and supply on electricity, gas and steam, 0.9% in the sector of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities.
Production output in mining sector increased by 2.8% as well as marketable gas by 6.3% and oil production decreased by 0.4%.
Production of food products in processing sector increased by 3.6%,production of leather and leather products, shoes 8.7%, production of paper and cardboard 15.8%, production of printing products 79.1%, production of chemical industry products 48.0%, production of construction materials 4.6%, production of ready metal products 58.6%, production of computer, electron and optic products 2.0 times, production of electrical equipment 6.7%,production of trailers and semi-trailers 4.5%, production of furniture 9.1%, installation and maintenance of machine and equipment 2.1 times and production of textile industry decreased by 60.2%, production of rubber and plastic products 26.7%, production of clothing 40.8%, production of beverage 10.1%.
Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply has been increased by 0.3% and 2.0% in production output in water supply, sewerage and waste management and remediation activities.
Production output in non-oil sector of industry increased by 7.5% and 0.6% in oil sector.
The bulk of produced products were sent to consumers, for the state of 1 December, 2015 considering the balance of the previous periods there were ready products in amount of 333.1 million manat in warehouses of industrial enterprises.
Collection of agricultural plants is going to be finalized.
Presently, harvest of products in agrarian sector is nearing completion. Till the 1st of December winter and spring cereals and legumes (excluding maize) with 915.2 thousand hectare of sowing area were reaped and 2785.5 thousand tons products were taken from those fields. On average the product obtained on per capita increased by 7.6 centner and formed 30.4 centner. Besides that, 211.3 thousand tons product was taken from maize sowing area with 35.3 thousand hectare.
Since the harvesting of crops till the 1st of December 831.5 thousand tons or more than 12.2 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of the last year potato, 1256.7 thousand tons (more than 75.1 thousand tons) vegetable, 484.5 thousand tons (more than 43.6 thousand tons) market garden crops, 880.6 thousand tons (more than 36.0 thousand tons) fruit and berry, 152.8 thousand tons (more than 5.2 thousand tons) grape, 575.9 tons (more than 116.7 tons) green tea leaf, 168.9 thousand tons (more than 2.5 thousand tons) sugar beet, 3466.1 tons (more than 609.0 tons)tobacco leaf were gathered from fields.
Compared to the same period of previous year cotton supply decreased by 15.4% and sunflower harvest by 7.0% and it was correspondingly formed 34.3 and 18.8 thousand tons.
428.7 thousand tons or more than 1.8% compared to the same period of the previous year meat in live weight, 1777.0 thousand tons (more than 4.2%) milk, 1402.6 million unit (less than 1.6%) egg, 16.8 thousand tons (more than 1.4%) wool was produced in January-November, 2015.
During this period the growth rate of total agricultural products compared to January-November of previous year was formed 6.7% at the result of increase by 2.5% of production of cattle-breeding and 10.8% of plant-growing products.
993.6 thousand hectare field was ploughed for the crop of the next year, seed for grain was sowed in the area of 852.4 thousand hectare, as well as, wheat in the area of 535.2 thousand hectare and barley in the area of 317.2thousand hectare.
In January-October, 2015 allocation in amount of 14438.8 million manat was directed to fixed assets. 8835.3 million manat or 61.2 % of used allocation was spent to the construction of production facilities, 4689.5 million manat (32.5%) to the facilities on service fields, 914.0 million manat (6.3%) to the construction of dwelling houses with total area 1634.1 thousand square meter. 8210.8 million manat or 56.9% of allocations directed to fixed assets was formed domestic funds. 10570.4 million manat or 73.2% of allocations directly spent for the execution of construction-installation works.
During January-November 203.7 million tons cargo and 1713.1 million person passengers were transported by natural entities and enterprises engaged in transport and warehouse sector. In comparison with the corresponding period of 2014 cargo transportation increased by 0.5%, conveyance of passengers 3.5%. 3.0% of cargos were transported by sea, 7.7% by railway, 61.9% by automobile, 27.4% by pipeline transport. 88.0% of passengers were transported by automobile, 11.8% by metro and others with other types of transport. During the reporting period 147.6 million tons non-oil cargos were transported in transport sector and it was more than 1.7% compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
During eleven months services in amount of 1495.2 million manat were rendered to legal and natural entities by information and communication enterprises and its 72.7% was concerning to population sector. Volume of information and communication services increased by 6.8% compared to the corresponding period of 2014 and 80.9% of received income in this sector was share of non-state sector.
During January-November, 2015 product in amount of 22434.6 million manat were sold to population by retail trade network and paid services in amount of 6450.6 million manat were rendered by service enterprises. Compared to the corresponding period of 2014 commodity turnover increased by 11.1% and volume of paid services 5.4%. Food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 11185.2 million manat and non-food products in amount of 11249.4 million manat were sold in trade networks.
According to the data of State Customs Committee during January-October, 2015 volume of foreign trade turnover of the country was formed 17205.9 million US dollars. 9765.0 million dollars or 56.8% of commodity turnover was formed exported products, 7440.9 million dollars (43.2%) imported products and positive balance in amount of 2324.1 million dollars was established resulted from prevailing the export over import. Compared to the corresponding period of 2014 volume of foreign trade turnover decreased by 4.3%, as well as export 6.0% and import increased by 0.3%. 11.9% of trade turnover was share of CIS member countries, 46.8% EU countries and 41.3% other countries.
22.0% volume of imported goods was share of CIS member countries, 30.5% of EU countries, 47.5% of other countries.
4.2% volume of exported goods was sent to CIS member countries, 59.2% to EU countries, 36.6% to other countries.
In January-October export of non-oil products compared to the corresponding period of the last year increased by 3.7% and formed 1324.9 million dollars.
In November compared to October prices of food products increased by 0.9%, prices of non-food products and prices of paid services remained stable. Generally, prices of consumer goods and services increased by 0.4%.
In January-October of the current year prices of food products increased by 5.9%, prices of non-food products 3.1%, prices of paid services rendered to population 1.0%. Generally, prices of consumer goods and services increased by 3.7%.
During January-October average monthly nominal salary of employees increased by 4.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2014 and became to 462.0 manat.
In January-November, 2015 nominal income of population increased by 5.7% and reached to 36.8 milliard manat. 75.7 % of income was spent to final consumption, 9.5% to taxes, social insurance and membership dues and 11.8% to increasing of savings, 3.0% for payment of credit interests.
According to the data of the Ministry of Finance, in January-October, 2015 state budget received fund in amount of 13874.1 million manat and means in amount of 13925.3 million manat were spent from budget, budget deficit in amount of 51.2 million manat was in the level of 0.1% of gross domestic products. 5.4 milliard manat of budget expenses was directed to the development and regulation of the economy, 3.2 milliard manat to education and health, social protection and social security sector, 5.3milliard manat to financing of other sectors.
According to the data of Central Bank for the 1st November of 2015 credit portfolio equivalent in national currency formed in amount of 18.6 milliard manat, its 14.2% was long-term credits. Volume of credits increased by 4.1% compared to the 1st of November, 2014. Amount of overdue loans formed 7.0% of total credit portfolio.
Compared to the same period of previous year amount of deposits of population in banks have been increased by 2.4% and formed 7.2 milliard manat for the state of 1st November, 2015.
In November average exchange rate of national currency for 1 US dollar was equal to 1.05 manat (1.01 manat since the beginning of the year), 1 Euro 1.13 manat (1.12) and 100 Russian rouble 1.62 manat (1.69).
Number of population since the beginning of the year increased by 94.3 thousand person or 1.0% and for the state of 1 November, 2015 and it was reached to 9687.3 thousand person.
