Industrial output in January-September 2025
In January–September 2025, industrial products worth 47.3 billion manats, or 1.0 percent less compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in the oil and gas sector decreased by 1.9 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 4.8 percent.
60.9 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 32.7 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5.4 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 1.0 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.
Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 4.6 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 2.8 percent.
In the manufacturing sector, the production of pharmaceutical products increased by 96.8 percent, wood processing and production of wood products by 59.2 percent, textile industry products by 27.6 percent, food products by 10.5 percent, rubber and plastic products by 9.7 percent, tobacco products by 9.5 percent, machinery and equipment by 6.5 percent, chemical industrial products by 5.6 percent, and oil products by 0.4 percent. Meanwhile, production decreased by 3.0 percent in beverages, 5.7 percent in installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment, 6.3 percent in construction materials, 6.8 percent in furniture, 8.7 percent in fabricated metal products, 11.7 percent in metallurgical industrial products, 13.6 percent in clothing, 14.4 percent in electrical equipment, 20.1 percent in leather and leather products and footwear, 22.3 percent in printing products, 24.9 percent in motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, 26.7 percent in computers, electronic and optical products, and 26.8 percent in paper and cardboard.
Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 0.6 percent, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 2.8 percent.
