In January-May 2022 gross domestic product in amount of 50867,5 million manats or 7,2 percent more compared to the corresponding period of previous year was produced in the country.

Value added produced in oil-gas sector of the economy increased by 0,5 percent, while in non-oil and gas sector it increased by 11,0 percent.

54,7 percent of GDP was produced in industry, 7,6 percent trade; vehicle repair areas, 6,1 percent transport and warehouse, 3,8 percent construction, 2,9 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 1,4 percent tourists' accommodation and public catering, 1,3 percent information and communication, 14,5 percent other fields, 7,7 percent net taxes on product and import.

GDP per capita had been equal to 5063,1 manats.
