84,3% of traffic accidents happened in settlements; number of persons died as a result of these accidents compared to the corresponding period of last year increased by 10,4% and made 425 persons, number of injured persons increased by 2,2% and made 992 persons.

40,4% of all traffic accidents happened with participation of transport means and pedestrians, 37,3% - several transport means, 22,3% - one mode of transport.

77,5% of persons died and 71,3% of injured as a result of traffic accidents were men.

5 accidents occurred because of drunk driving and caused death or injury, where 1 person died, 7 persons injured. 4 of such accidents have been committed by drivers of motor-cars.
