In January-April 2024 industrial products at 21,1 billion manats were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field compared. The product output in the oil-gas sector compared to the corresponding period of 2023 decreased by 0,2 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 8,7 percent.

64,6 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 29,3 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5,3 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 0,8 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.

Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 5,7 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 4,3 percent.

Production of metallurgical industrial products in the manufacturing sector increased by 55,0 percent, production of construction materials 44,6 percent, furniture by 36,4 percent, production of computer, electronic and optical products by 31,3 percent, rubber and plastic products by 30,5 percent, production of beverage by 27,5 percent, leather and leather products and shoes by 25,2 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 22,5 percent, tobacco products by 19,2 percent, production of clothes by 19,1 percent, production of electrical equipment by 17,7 percent, production of finished metal products by 12,6, chemical industrial products by 8,6 percent, pharmaceutical products by 6,4 percent, production of oil products by 5,3 percent, production of food products by 0,7 percent, paper and cardboard by 0,4 percent, while production of textile industry products decreased by 8,6 percent, polygraphy products by 8,6 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 11,2 percent, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 13,9 percent, machine and equipment by 16,8 percent, production of other vehicles by 27,3 percent, other industrial products by 59,8 percent.

Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply decreased by 4,6 percent, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased 8,2 percent.
