In January-May 2024 gross domestic product in amount of 48026,0 million manats or 4,2 percent more compared to the same period of the previous year was produced in the country.

Value added produced in non-oil and gas sector of the economy increased by 7,3 percent, while in oil and gas sector it remained the same compared to January-May of the previous year.

39,7 percent of GDP was produced in industry, 9,6 percent trade; vehicle repair areas, 7,0 percent transport and warehouse, 6,0 percent construction, 3,8 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2,4 percent tourists' accommodation and public catering, 1,8 percent information and communication, 20,1 percent other fields, 9,6 percent net taxes on product and import.

GDP per capita had been equal to 4713,3 manats.
