The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed a Decree on conducting the next Population Census in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2029. To be conducted to obtain comprehensive population data and to assess the socio-demographic situation across the entire territory of the country for the first time since the full restoration of territorial integrity and state sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the census will serve for collection of up-to-date statistics reflecting the country's demographic, social, and economic conditions.
