The State Statistical Committee has published the next edition of the statistical yearbook “Environment in Azerbaijan”.

The yearbook presents key statistical data characterizing the state of the environment in Azerbaijan, as well as forestry, fisheries and hunting activities.

The publication contains data on demographic conditions, population health, land and forest resources, specially protected natural areas, fisheries and hunting, the use of water resources, air protection, hazardous waste, as well as expenditure on environmental protection.

Some indicators are also presented by the economic regions of the country.
