Sevinj Fattahova was born on May 19, 1973, in Baku. She graduated from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University in 1996 and Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2014. From 1996 to 2025, she worked as an adviser, leading adviser, chief adviser, and head of the sector at the State Statistical Committee. Since February 2025, she has been the Head of the Department of Service Statistics of the State Statistical Committee. She is a counselor of civil service. She is married and has one child.
Activity Direction of the Department:
- participate in building up a unique state policy in the field of service statistics and provide implementation of the policy;
- timely collect service statistics and provide correspondence with social-economic process in the country;
- provide development of service statistics;
- organize surveys on service statistics.
