On December 17, a meeting was held between Tahir Budagov, Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the delegation led by Nguyen Thi Huong, Director General of the General Statistics Office of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, who is visiting our country.

On December 9-13, 2024, the 20th session of the Governing Council of the United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific and the 9th session of the Committee on Statistics of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific were held in Bangkok, Thailand. The events were attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Vahab Mammadov.  

On December 4-5, 2024, Statistics Korea (KOSTAT) hosted a conference for partner institutions in the field of statistics in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

The statistical publication presents statistical information on indicators reflecting economic regions and the processes occurring in the social, economic, demographic, and ecological aspects of cities and districts.

On November 7, the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized an event dedicated to November 8, Victory Day.

On October 28-29, 2024, the 16th meeting of the heads of national statistical services of the BRICS member states is being held in Kazan, Russian Federation. Mr. Tahir Budagov, the Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, represents our country at the event as a guest.

On October 9-10, 2024, specialists of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan conducted an online training on “Conducting and Analyzing Labour Force Surveys for Monitoring the Labour Market” for representatives of national statistical offices of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries. The event was organized by the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) within the framework of the Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Program. The training was attended by 115 representatives from 25 member countries.

On October 9, Mr. Tahir Budagov, Chairman of the State Statistical Committee, met with Ms. Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Director General of the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
