The yearbook “Tourism in Azerbaijan” – is an annual publication which reflects statistics on economic indicators of travel agencies and touroperators, hotels and similar establishments operating in Azerbaijan, number of citizens who travel to foreign countries and foreigners and stateless persons arrivals to Azerbaijan, public catering turnover.
The yearbook consists of data on number of travel agencies and tour operators, hotels and hotel-type enterprises and number of employees in them, revenues and expenses of these enterprises, number and cost of package tours sold to Azerbaijani citizens for their travel abroad and to foreigners and stateless persons for traveling to Azerbaijan, as well as number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling to foreign countries and foreigners and stateless persons who travel to Azerbaijan by the countries, number of persons who stay in hotels and similar establishments and number of overnights, number of served foreigners and stateless persons by countries, number of foreigners and stateless persons provided with services in these enterprises by the countries, public catering turnover, physical volume indices and etc.
Statistical data on travel agencies and tour operators, hotels and similar establishments, public catering, are also given by economic regions and types of property.
The yearbook is intended for economists, statisticians, scientific officers and other users.
