Along with other fields of country, the construction complex also is developing dynamically. During 2011 from all financial sources 12.8 milliard manat or 27.3 % more than previous year financial means were directed to fixed assets and 80.3 % of it was provided by the account of domestic sources. 43.1 % of spent capital was used for product output, 56.9% in construction of enterprises for service fields. Funds directed to fixed capital by the enterprises and organizations with state property were 58.6 % of total fixed capital.
In 2011 some new buildings and objects were given into use within the framework of State Program on socio-economic development of regions and new job places were opened. In Baku city - "Hilton Baku"? hotel, "Kempinski Badamdar"? hotel and "Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel"? complexes, Treatment-Diagnostic Centre, "Darnagul"? metro station and Construction materials plant, in Sumgait city - Olympic Sport Complex, in Ganja city - Regional Information Centre for persons with physically disabled, in Naftalan city - "Chinar Hoteland SPA Naftalan"? and "Gashalti"? sanatorium complexes, in Khyzi region - Treatment-Diagnostic Center, in Absheron region - furniture factory and AZMDF plant, in Agsu region - Bakery plant, Juice and wine processing plant and city stadium, in Samukh region - Fruit drying and processing enterprise, in Agabeyli village of Agcabadi region - "Atena" milk production and processing enterprise, Agcabadi-Garadolag-Kebirli motor road (24.5 km), Chess school, in Imishli region - Mixed fodder and vegetable oil factories were given into use, Imishli-Garavelili-Mirili motor road reconstructed(12.0 km), Olympic Sport Complex, bridge on the same branch of Araz river (230 metre), in Gabala region - International Airport, Olympic Sport Complex, Lemonade factory, "Caucasian Sport Hotel "?, in Sheki region - Wine plant and "Green Hill Inn"? Hotel, in Gakh region - Bus station complex, "El Resort"? hotel, in Oguz region - maize processing plant and glucose production, in Ucar region - Chess school, in Goycay region - refrigerator warehouse for keeping fruit and vegetable, in Gobustan region - grain warehouse complex and Experimental Polygon and Educational Centre, in Guba region - Bus station building, Chess school and Guba-Gacrash-Gimilgazma motor road (22km), in Xachmaz region - Condenser factory reconstructed and Chess school was given into use, in Astara region - Gas-Compressor Station, Astara-Bala Shahagac motor road (19 km), in Tovuz region - Dairy and Olympic Sport Complex, Tovuz-Boyuk Gishlar-Garalar motor road (53 km), Gazakh-Georgia State Border motor road (36 km), 42 km part of Kurdamir-Ucar highway, Agdash-Leki motor road (12km) reconstructed and was given into use. New dwellings with total area 1922.3 thousand square metre was put into operation by the account of all financial sources, as well as secondary schools with 12608 places for pupils, hospital with 254 beds, ambulatory-polyclinic institutions which allows serve 210 persons, pre-school institutions with 310 places, club with 140 places.
