Participation of representative of the State Statistical Committee
in the 43rd session of UN Statistical Commission
Representative of the State Statistical Committee the head of Department of Quality Management and IT Y.Yusifov was participated in the 43rd session of UN Statistical Commission on 28 February-02March 2012 in New York.
The following issues were discussed in the session:
Population and housing censuses; Crime statistics; National accounts; Agricultural statistics; Environmental-economic accounting; Environment statistics; Energy statistics; Statistics for economies based on natural resources; Information and communications technology statistics; National quality assurance frameworks; Implementation of the Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics; Coordination of statistical activities in the United Nations; Efforts in developing a plan of action on statistical development; Statistics of human development; Regional statistical development in Europe.
Statistical Department of UN as a speaker to the additional activity organized by them on Energy Statistics invited International Energy Agency, International Energy Forum, along with the Organization of Norway Statistics also the State Statistical Committee. The representative of Committee presented a presentation on his speech. The presentation was about the followings: history of output on oil and natural gas, the role and perspective policy of natural gas, dynamics of data, formation of natural gas statistics, balance of natural gas, existence on periodicity of data on balance, new challenges and etc. (For presentation please click the following link:
