Participation of representative of the State Statistical Committee in the conference on Group of Experts on National Accounts organized in Geneva

Representatives of the State Statistical Committee head of Department of National Accounts and Macro-economic Indicators Statistics Nuru Suleymanov from the 30th of April till the 4th of May was participated in the conference hold in Geneva on Group of Experts on National Accounts organized by the Economic Commission for Europe, Eurostat and European Free Trade Association.
Besides the specialists on national accounts invited from 52 countries and organizational structures and also International Monetary Fund, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, Statistics Department of UN, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Central Bank of Europe and other international organizations were participated in the conference .
The program of conference was consisting of 3 parts. (Introduction of the 2008 SNA for Users; Special session for Economies in Transition; Expert Group on National Accounts).
In the first part Organizers were International Monetary Fund (IMF) and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). This module was designed to inform the users of national accounts statistics on the 2008 SNA and the recommendations of the Guide "Impact of Globalization on National Accounts"?.
In the second part of the conference on Special session for Economies in Transition representative of the State Statistical Committee Nuru Suleymanov was presented his presentation on improvement of indicators on National Accounts, measures intended on the application of SNA-2008, their fulfillment and gained results and answered to the questions of participants on the theme.
In the third part issues on volume of market and non-market services, households and value added created in non-cooperation belong to households, measure of finance services were discussed.
During the discussion it was noted that determination of quantity unit of service and its connection with corresponding prices is very difficult process and this kind of indices demand enough force and means.
At the end of the conference results of meeting were discussed and final document on results of conference and recommendations for future was adopted.
