Production of GDP in 2012

According to the primary calculations volume of GDP produced by country residents compared to previous year increased by 2.2% and reached to 54.0 milliard manat.
In this period with current prices in amount of 77, 9 milliard manat products and services were produced and it was 4.5 milliard manat more than 2011. Value of goods and services spent to product output was formed 23.9 milliard manat or 30.7% on output of product and services.
Last year value added in non-oil sector of economy increased by 9.7%, its special weight in GDP increased from 48.8% to 52.7%. Correspondingly 47.3 percent of GDP was share of oil-gas production and processing fields and decreased by 5.0% compared to previous year.
During 2012 in amount of 27.0 milliard manat value added was created in the industry, or 50 % of GDP, in the agriculture, forestry and fishing – 2.8 milliard manat (correspondingly 5.2%), in the construction – 5.0 milliard manat (9.2%), in the transport and warehouse farm – 2.9 milliard manat (5.5%), in the information and communication services – 927.2 million manat (1.7%), in the field of services on maintenance of trade and transport means – 3.6 milliard manat (6.7%), in the field of accommodation of tourists and catering – 910.3 million manat (1.7%), in the field of social and other services – 7.5 milliard manat (13.8%).
Volume of GDP on per capita of population was formed 5884.5 manat or 7490.5 US dollars.
Net taxes for product and import were formed 6.2% of GDP.
