Construction

In the first quarter of 2014 along with other fields of country, the construction complex also developed dynamically. From all financial sources in amount of 3.1 milliard manat or more than 7.0% funds were directed to the fixed assets compared to corresponding period of previous year, its 67.5 % was provided to the account of internal sources. 70.0% of spent funds were used in production output, 30.0% - in the construction of facilities on service fields. Funds directed to the fixed assets by state property enterprises and organizations formed 49.5% of capital.
In January-March, 2014 followings were put into operation: in Baku city - Health centre, new administrative-academic complex of National Conservatory, in Sumgait city - Azerbaijan paper and cardboard factory, Oil factory, Copper processing plant, in Goy-Gol region – Olympic Sport Complex and Youth Centre, in Gabala region - first stage of “Tufan” Alpine Skiing Summer and Winter Recreation Complex and with total area of 373.6 thousand square metre dwellings as well as, hospital with 200 beds, secondary schools with 1820 places for pupils, pre-school institutions with 390 places and others were put into operation by the account of all financial sources.
