Product in amount of 15.9 milliard manat or more than 11.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2014 were sold to consumers in retail trade enterprises on January-August, 2015. 49.9% of sold products were food products, beverage and tobacco products and 50.1% non-food products.
During eight months of the current year volume of electronic retail trade turnover increased by 2.0 times compared to the same period of the last year and it was formed 8.2 million manat. 92.7% of consumer goods ordered by online mode were purchased from trade networks of legal entities, 7.3% from trade networks of natural entities. 96.5% of electronic trade turnover was share of non-food products.
In January-August, 2015 volume of public catering turnover increased by 16.7% compared to the same period of the last year and became 644.9 million manat. Volume of turnover in catering facilities of legal entities was 276.5 million manat and private enterprises engaged in this field 368.4 million manat.
