Macro-economic indicators of economic and social development of the country in January-September, 2015

During January-September, 2015 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in amount of 40.7 milliard manat or more than 3.7% compared to corresponding period of last year was produced by the enterprises and organizations and natural entities operating in the country. 34.2% of GDP was established in industry, 13.5% in construction, 10.1% in trade; maintenance of transport means, 6.5% in agriculture, forestry, fishery, 5.7% in transport and warehouse, 2.6% in accommodation of tourists and public catering, 2.0% in in information and communication and 17.9% in other fields. Net of tax to the product and import was formed 7.5% of GDP. Volume of GDP on per capita increased by 2.5% and it was equal to 4275.2 manat.
In January-September, 2015 in amount of 19.7 milliard manat or more than 2.1% compared with the corresponding period of last year industrial products were produced by industrial enterprises and natural entities engaged in this field.
62.6% of industry product was produced in mining sector, 29.4% in processing sector, 7.1% in distribution and supply on electricity, gas and steam, 0.9% in the sector of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities.
Production output in mining sector increased by 1.4% as well as marketable gas by 4.0% and oil production decreased by 2.1%.
Production of food products in processing sector increased by 3.6%,production of leather and leather products, shoes 74.1%, wood processing and production of products from wood 37.0%, production of chemical industry products 97.2%, production of printing products 76.3%, production of construction materials 12.2%, production of metallurgical products 5.1%, production of ready metal products 62.0%, production of computer, electron and optic products 71.9%, production of electrical equipment 20.8%, production of furniture 5.2%, installation and maintenance of machine and equipment 2.1times.
Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply has been increased by 2.2% and 2.8% in production output in water supply, sewerage and waste management and remediation activities.
Production output in non-oil sector of industry increased by 10.2% and it was decreased by 0.7% in oil sector.
The bulk of produced products were sent to consumers, for the state of 1 October, 2015 considering the balance of the previous periods there were ready products in amount of 301.5 million manat in warehouses of industrial enterprises.
At present, harvesting of agricultural crops is in progress. For the 1st of October 914.0 thousand hectare of sowing area with 915.2 thousand hectare of sowing area with winter and spring cereals and legumes (excluding maize) were reaped and 2782.4 thousand tons products were taken from those fields. On average the product obtained on per capita increased by 7.6 centner and formed 30.4 centner. Besides that, 168.2 thousand tons product was taken from maize sowing area with 28.5 thousand hectare.
Since the harvesting of crops till the 1st of October 822.3 thousand tons or more than 13.4 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of the last year potato, 1172.7 thousand tons (more than 47.7 thousand tons) vegetable, 481.5 thousand tons (more than 41.6 thousand tons) market garden crops, 533.4 thousand tons (more than 1000 thousand tons) fruit and berry, 111.7 thousand tons (more than 5.6 thousand tons) grape, 556.5 tons (more than 152.3 tons) green tea leaf, 40.8 tons (more than 11.7 thousand tons) sugar beet, 2819.6 tons (more than 585.9 tons)tobacco leaf were gathered from fields.
14.3 thousand tons cotton was picked from fields and delivered to purchase enterprises and 18.8 thousand tons sunflower for seed were gathered.
2703.9 thousand head cattle and 8743.4 thousand head sheep and goat were available for the state of 1st October. Compared to the 1st of January, 2015 cattle increased by 6.4 thousand head, sheep and goat 98.0 thousand head.
331.4 thousand tons or more than 2.0% compared to January-September of previous year meat in live weight, 1469.5 thousand tons (more than 3.8%) milk, 1157.4 million unit (less than 0.6%) eggs, 16.5 thousand tons (more than 1.6%) wool were produced in January-September, 2015.
During this period the growth rate of total agricultural products compared to January-September of previous year was formed 6.7% at the result of increase by 2.5% of production of cattle-breeding and 10.4% of plant-growing products.
Allocation in amount of 11831.2 million manat or more than 0.5% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year were directed to fixed assets in January-September, 2015. 7206.4 million manat or 60.9% of used allocation was spent to the construction of production facilities, 3822.9 million manat (32.3%) to the facilities on service fields, 801.9 million manat (6.8%) to the construction of dwelling houses with total area 1327.4 thousand square meter. 6862.9 million manat or 58.0% of allocations directed to fixed assets was formed domestic funds. Allocations directly spent for the execution of construction-installation works increased by 6.0% compared to the same period of 2014 and formed 8760.2 million manat.
Since IV quarter of 2003 up today from starting of execution of the State Program on socio- economic development of regions 1452.4 thousand new as well as 1078.5 thousand permanent job places were established. Starting from 2014 related with the execution of third State Program 215.2 thousand new as well as 172.7 thousand permanent job places were opened. Number of new established job places in the country during 9 months of 2015 was 87.9 thousand as well as number of permanent job places was 67.6 thousand.
During January-September 166.1 million tons cargo and 1380.0 million person passengers were transported by natural entities and enterprises engaged in transport and warehouse sector. In comparison with the corresponding period of 2014 cargo transportation increased by 0.6%, conveyance of passengers 3.6%. 3.1% of cargos were transported by sea, 7.8% by railway, 61.4% by automobile, 27.7% by pipeline transport. 88.0% of passengers were transported by automobile, 11.8% by metro and others with other types of transport. During the reporting period 119.6 million tons non-oil cargos were transported in transport sector and it was more than 1.8% compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
During nine months services in amount of 1216.6 million manat were rendered to legal and natural entities by information and communication enterprises. Its 72.7% was concerning to population sector. Volume of information and communication services increased by 8.8% compared to the corresponding period of 2014 and 81.1% of received income in this sector was share of non-state sector.
During January-September, 2015 product in amount of 18089.1 million manat were sold to population by retail trade network and paid services in amount of 5111.8 million manat were rendered by service enterprises. Compared to the corresponding period of 2014 commodity turnover increased by 11.4% and volume of paid services 6.2%. Food products in amount of 9037.5 million manat and non-food products in amount of 9051.6 million manat were sold in trade networks.
According to the data of State Customs Committee during January-August, 2015 volume of foreign trade turnover of the country was formed 14082.2 million US dollars. 8183.5 million dollars or 58.1% of commodity turnover was formed exported products, 5898.7 million dollars (41.9%) imported products and positive balance in amount of 2284.8 million dollars was established at the result of imports exceed exports. Compared to the corresponding period of 2014 volume of foreign trade turnover with constant prices remained unchanged at the same level, as well as export decreased by 1.5% and import increased by 4.2%. 11.5% of commodity turnover was share of CIS member countries, 47.2% EU countries and 41.3% other countries.
22.3% of imported goods was share of CIS member countries, 29.6% of EU countries, 48.1% of other countries.
3.8% of exported goods was sent to CIS member countries, 60.0% to EU countries, 36.2% to other countries.
In January-August export of non-oil products compared to the corresponding period of the last year increased by 8.7% and formed 1078.9 million dollars.
In September compared to August prices of food products increased by 0.6%, prices of non-food products 0.1%, prices of paid services remained stable. Generally, prices of consumer goods and services increased by 0.3%.
In January-September of the current year prices of food products increased by 6.0%, prices of non-food products 3.0%, prices of paid services rendered to population 1.1%. Totally, prices of consumer goods and services increased by 3.7%.
During January-August average monthly nominal salary of employments increased by 4.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2014 and became to 460.1 manat.
In January-September, 2015 nominal income of population increased by 5.8% and reached to 30.1 milliard manat. 75.6 of income was spent to final consumption, 9.4% to taxes, social insurance and membership dues and 12.1% to increasing of savings, 2.9% for payment of credit interests.
According to the data of the Ministry of Finance, in January-August, 2015 state budget received fund in amount of 10.7 milliard manat and means in amount of 10.8 milliard manat were spent from budget, budget deficit in amount of 127.0 million manat established in execution of budget was 0.35% level of gross domestic products. 4.6 milliard manat of budget expenses was directed to the development and regulation of the economy, 2.6 milliard manat to education and health, social protection and social security sector, 3.6 milliard manat to financing of other sectors.
According to the data of Central Bank for the 1st September of 2015 credit portfolio equivalent in national currency was formed in amount of 20.1 milliard manat, its 78.5% or 15.77 milliard manat was long-term credits. Volume of credits increased by 16.1% compared to the 1st of September of 2014. Amount of overdue loans was formed 6.6% of total credit portfolio.
Compared to the same period of previous year amount of deposits of population in banks have been increased by 4.7% and formed 7.3 milliard manat for the state of 1st September, 2015.
In August average exchange rate of national currency for 1 US dollar was equal to 1.05 manat (1.00 manat since the beginning of the year), 1 Euro 1.18 manat (1.11) and 100 Russian rouble 1.58 manat (1.70).
Number of population since the beginning of the year increased by 73.0 thousand person or 0.8% and for the state of 1 September, 2015 it was reached to 9666.0 thousand person.
