Foreign trade relations

In 2015 legal and natural entities of the Republic of Azerbaijan realized trade relations with 165 world countries, export of products was made to 111 countries and it was imported from 147 countries. 9.6 % of trade turnover was share of CIS member countries, 48.2 % of EU countries and 42.2 % of other countries.
In 2015 according to the statistical data volume of foreign trade turnover made up 25781.0 million US dollars as well as, volume of export was 16559.6 million dollars, volume of import was 9221.4 million dollars. As the result was established positive balance in amount of 7338.2 million dollars.
Among the total volume of exported products crude oil, oil products, natural gas, fruit –vegetable, animal fats and vegetable oils, plastic and products made from it, aluminum and products made from it, chemical industry products was prevailed. Machines, mechanisms, electric apparatus, equipment, ferrous metals and products made from it, transport means and its spare parts, food, tobacco and pharmaceutical products was prevailed among the total volume of imported goods.
In 2015 export of non-oil products compared to the corresponding period of 2014 increased by 2.7% and made up 1581.2 million dollars.
