Retail trade turnover
Products of 4258.2 million AZN, more than 4.2% compared to the same period 2015 were sold to consumers in January-February, 2016. Volume of sale in real terms on food products, beverages and tobacco products increased by 5.5% and was equal to 2150.0 million manat, on non-food products by 3.0% and was equal to 2108.2 million manat.
During the reporting month 50.5% of allocations of consumers in retail trade network spent to the purchase of food products, beverages and tobacco products, 17.2% textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.5% electrical appliances and furniture, 5.7% motor fuel, 1.3% pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.9% computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 17.9% other non-food products.
