Foreign trade relations

In January, 2015 legal and natural entities of the Republic of Azerbaijan realized trade relations with 114 world countries, export of products was made to 61 countries and it was imported from 106 countries. 51.3 % of trade turnover was share of EU countries, 8.5% of CIS member countries, and 40.2 % of other countries.
Foreign trade turnover was 1314.7 million USD, export value was 871.9 million USD, import value was 442.8 million USD and as a result positive trade balance reached 429.1 million USD in January, by taking into account statistical estimate of crude oil and natural gas exported before completed customs clearance, registered in the customs authorities.
Among the total volume of exported products crude oil, oil products, natural gas, fruit –vegetable, plastic and products made from it, aluminum and products made from it, ferrous metal and products made from it, sugar, chemical industry products, vegetable oil was prevailed. Share of machines, mechanisms, electric apparatus, equipment, ferrous metals and products made from it, food products, pharmaceutical products, transport means and its spare parts, products made from plastic was prevailed among the total volume of imported goods.
