Retail trade turnover
Products of 8738.5 million AZN, more than 2.7% compared to the same period 2015 were sold to consumers in January-April, 2016. Volume of sale in real terms on food products, beverages and tobacco products increased by 3.6% and was equal to 4364.6 million manat, on non-food products by 1.4% and was equal to 4373.9 million manat.
During the reporting month 49.9% of allocations of consumers in retail trade network spent to the purchase of food products, beverages and tobacco products, 17.0% textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.7% electrical appliances and furniture, 5.8% motor fuel, 1.3% pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.8% computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 18.5% other non-food products.
