Retail trade turnover
Products of 10999,2 million AZN, more than 1.9% compared to the same period 2015 were sold to consumers in January-May, 2016. Volume of sale in real terms on food products, beverages and tobacco products increased by 2.5% and was equal to 5479,4 million manat, on non-food products by 0.7% and was equal to 5519,8 million manat.
During the reporting month 49.8% of allocations of consumers in retail trade network spent to the purchase of food products, beverages and tobacco products, 17.3% textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.5% electrical appliances and furniture, 5.8% motor fuel, 1.4% pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.8% computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 18.4% other non-food products.
