Changes in prices of consumer market
Prices of consumer goods and services including food products, non-food products and paid services provided to population in January-June 2016 increased respectively by 10.5%, 11.9%, 15.4%, and 4.5% compared to the same period of 2015.
In June 2016 prices of consumer goods and services decreased compared to May 0.5%, including food products 1.3%, but prices of non-food products increased 0.3%, prices of paid services remained stable. Over the month there has been observed decreasing in prices of rice, buckwheat flour, chicken meat, butter and olive oil, lemon, tangerine, strawberry prices rise, pasta, beef and mutton, milk, eggs, sunflower and corn oils, apples, pears, bananas, sweet cherry, plums, apricots, peaches, tomatoes, cucumber , eggplant, carrots, beets, peppers, green beans, cabbage, potatoes, garlic, onion. There are no any significant changes in the prices of other food products.
Compared to May an increase in prices of non-food products such as fabrics, clothes and shoes, construction materials, jewelry, furniture and home appliances, carpet and other floor coverings, glassware, cooking utensils, gas stove, electric stove, air conditioner and decreasing in prices of TV set and computers, refrigerator and washing machine, spare parts for vehicles has been observed in June.
