Retail trade turnover
In January - February 2017 value of goods sold in retail trade network has exceeded the level of the same period of the previous year for 1.4% and made 4.9 milliard manats. 2.5 milliard manats of trade turnover made food products, beverages and tobacco products, 2.4 milliard manats – non-food products and value of sold products has exceeded indicators of January-February 2016 correspondingly for 0.5% and 2.3% in real terms.

During the reporting period 50.7% of resources the consumers spent in retail trade networks for purchasing of food products, beverages and tobacco products, 18.0% textile products, clothes and shoes, 6.4% electrical appliances and furniture, 4.9% motor fuel, 1.3% pharmaceutical and medical products, 0.8% computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 17.9% other non-food products.
In January - February 2017 11.7% of consumer goods have been sold by enterprises of legal entity status, 54.2% - private entrepreneurs, 34.1% were sold in markets and fairs.
Retail trade turnover in average per capita during the reporting period made 254.0 manats or more for 32.1 manats in nominal terms than corresponding indicator of 2016. In the trade network at average monthly per country citizen there have been purchased food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 128.8 manats and non-food products in amount of 125.2 manats.
