Changes in prices of consumer market
Prices of consumer goods and services in January-November 2017 compared to corresponding period of 2016 increased by 13.4%, including food products 17.1%, non-food products 12.1%, paid services provided to population 9.6%.
In November of the current year compared to October prices of consumer goods and services increased by 0.2%, including food and non-food products 0.3%, while prices of paid services provided to population stayed stable.
On November compared to October go up in prices of sausage products, fish products, dairy products, cheese and eggs, butter, olive oil and margarine, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, onion, potato, tea and decreasing in prices of rice, flour, manna and buckwheat, beef, mutton and poultry, sunflower and corn oil, lemon, orange, tangerine, banana, apple, quince, pomegranate, date, cabbage, greens, carrot, garlic, sugar and granulated sugar was observed. No significant changes had been observed in prices of other food products.
Over the month go up in prices of non-food products such as fabrics, clothes and shoes, construction materials, furniture and home goods, carpet and other floor coverings, air conditioners, big tools and equipment, jewellery and decreasing in prices of washing machines, electric ovens and gas-stoves, mobile phones, TV sets, cameras, laptops and tablet computers had been observed. No significant changes had been observed in prices of other non-food products.
