Industrial output in January – November, 2017

In January - November 2017 industrial products at 35.7 milliard manats were produced in the country. Product output in non-oil sector of industry increased by 3.5%, while in oil-sector it decreased by 5.0%.
69.9% of industrial products have been produced in mining sector, 24.9% - manufacturing sector, 4.4% - production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.8% - water supply, waste management and remediation activities.
Production of metal ore in mining sector increased by 2.9%, while oil production and marketable gas production decreased correspondingly by 6.2% and 2.2%.
Production of food products in manufacturing sector increased by 0.6%, beverages – 22.8%, tobacco products – 6.0%, textile industry products – 47.8%, clothing – 31.3%, wood manufacturing and production of wood products - 32.9%, chemical industry products - 20.8%, production of pharmaceutical products – 2.5 times, rubber and plastic products - 91.4%, construction materials – 29.8%, computer and electronic products - 28.5%, electrical equipment – 50.1%, machinery and equipment - 38.7%, production of other vehicles – 16.9%, production of furniture - 17.8%, while production of leather and leather products and shoes decreased by 2.8%, paper and cardboard – 1.1%, printing products - 9.3%, metallurgical industrial products - 9.9%, ready metal products - 14.9%, installation and maintenance activities of machinery and equipment - 46.6%.
Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply has been decreased by 1.6%, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it decreased by 1.4%.
