Changes in prices of consumer market
Prices of consumer goods and services in January-February 2018 compared to corresponding period of 2017 increased by 4.7%, including food products 5.8%, non-food products 4.7%, paid services provided to population 3.3%.
In February of the current year compared to January prices of consumer goods and services increased by 0.2%, including prices of food products 0.4% and non-food products 0.1%, while prices of paid services provided to population decreased 0.1%.
During the month prices of rice, milk, yogurt, butter, butter, olive and margarine oil, tangerine, apple, pear, quince, pomegranate, date, banana, nutmeg, hazelnut, cucumber, tomato, pumpkin, onion, potato, tea and coffee are increased; stuffed rice, flour, semolina and buckwheat, pasta, beef, sheep and chicken meat, egg, sunflower and cork oil, lemon, orange, cabbage, carrot, beet, garlic, greens, sugar are decreased. No significant changes had been observed in prices of other food products.
In February of the current year compared to January the prices of clothes, building materials, furniture and household goods, glassware, cookware and utensils, stationery and jewelry products are increased; the prices of spare parts for cars, home appliances, carpet and other floor coverings, TVs, mobile phones and cameras are decreased. No significant changes had been observed in prices of other non-food products.
In February, compared to the previous month, the prices of international services of international passenger transport services and out-of-the-way tours, motor vehicle repair services, railway passenger transport services, domestic appliances and footwear are upscaled. No significant changes had been observed in prices of other paid services.
