Changes in prices of consumer market
Prices of consumer goods and services in January-March 2018 compared to corresponding period of 2017 increased by 4.0%, including food products 4.5%, non-food products 4.3%, paid services provided to population 2.9%.
In March of the current year compared to February prices of consumer goods and services increased by 0.2%, including prices of food products 0.5% and non-food products 0.1%, while prices of paid services provided to population stayed stable.
During the month prices of olive and margarine oil, orange, tangerine, banana, apple, pear, kiwi, nutmeg, hazelnut, chestnut, greens, tomato, cucumber, onion, potato, coffee, tea and cocoa are increased; rice, flour, semolina and buckwheat, pasta, beef and chicken meat, egg, butter and corn oil, carrot, garlic and sugar are decreased.
In February, compared to the previous month, the prices of cleaning, repair and renting of clothes, air transport of international passenger (except CIS countries), abroad travelling tours, hotel services are increased; the prices of passenger transport by air and railway transport are decreased. No significant changes had been observed in prices of other paid services.
