Changes in prices of consumer market
Prices of consumer goods and services in January-November 2018 compared to corresponding period of 2017 increased by 2.3%, including food products 1.9%, non-food products 2.7%, paid services provided to population 2.6%.
In November of the current year compared to October prices of consumer goods and services increased by 0.6%, including food products 1.2%, non-food products 0.2% and paid services provided to population 0.1%.
During a month go up in prices of rice, flour, mutton, sausage products, fish products, dairy products, cheese and eggs, butter, olive and corn oils, banana, pear, cucumber, tomato, eggplant, green beans, onion, potato, coffee, tea and cacao, tobacco products, alcohol drinks and decreasing in prices of manna and buckwheat, macaroni products, lemon, orange, tangerine, apple, quince, pomegranate, date, kiwi, cabbage, greens, beet, carrot and garlic were observed. No significant changes were observed in prices of other food products.
Over the month go up in prices of non-food products such as clothes, shoes, furniture and home goods, carpet and other floor coverings, spare parts for vehicles, office supplies, jewellery and decreasing in prices of air conditioners, mobile phones, TV sets, cameras, tablet computers were observed. No significant changes had been observed in prices of other non-food products.
On November compared to October there was rise in prices of paid services provided to population - apartment rental fees, cleaning, repairing and renting of clothes, public catering, dental services and reducing in prices of inland recreation tours, international passenger transportation by air and railway transport. No significant changes were observed in prices of other paid services.
