Industrial output in January-April 2021
In January-April 2021 industrial products at 14,9 milliard manats or less for 3,8 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. This decrease was due to 6,9 percent decrease in product output in oil-gas sector, while product output in non-oil and gas sector of industry increased by 16,5 percent.
62,9 percent of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 30,5 percent in manufacturing sector, 5,8 percent in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,8 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.
Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 6,9 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 9,3 percent.
Production of pharmaceutical products in manufacturing sector increased by 6,0 times, leather and leather products and shoes by 4,4 times, computer, electronic and optical products by 2,8 times, machine and equipment by 2,7 times, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 2,1 times, tobacco products by 98,7 percent, electrical equipment by 65,2 percent, paper and cardboard by 34,6 percent, textile industry products by 33,3 percent, wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 30,3 percent, rubber and plastic products by 24,0 percent, construction materials by 22,5 percent, production of clothes by 19,0 percent, food products by 6,9 percent, while production of oil products decreased by 1,4 percent, finished metal products by 9,3 percent, beverage by 9,9 percent, chemical industrial products by 13,4 percent, furniture by 34,2 percent, automobile, trailers and semi-trailers production by 56,1 percent, polygraphic products by 56,2 percent, other vehicles by 99,1 percent.
Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply decreased by 0,7 percent while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities increased by 2,2 percent.
