Retail trade turnover
In 2021, products at 44,2 milliard manats, including food, beverages and tobacco products at 24,0 milliard manats, non-food products at 20,2 milliard manats were sold to the consumers in retail trade network. Compared to 2020 the retail trade turnover increased in real terms by 3,2 percent, including 2,5 percent for food products, beverages and tobacco products, 3,9 percent for non-food products.

During the reporting period, 54,3 percent of resources the consumers spent to purchasing of food, beverages and tobacco products for final consumption purposes, 15,4 percent - textile products, clothes and shoes, 5,6 percent - gasoline and diesel fuel, 5,2 percent - electrical appliances and furniture, 2,2 percent - pharmaceutical products and medical equipment, 1,0 percent - computers, telecommunication equipment and printing products and 16,3 percent - other non-food products.
In 2021, 26,3 percent of consumer goods in real terms have been sold by trade enterprises, 52,2 percent - private entrepreneurs, 21,5 percent were sold in markets and fairs. Retail trade turnover compared to 2020 increased in real terms by 19,6 percent - for enterprises and decreased by 1,5 percent - for private entrepreneurs, 2,1 percent - for markets and fairs.
During the reporting period, in the retail trade network at average monthly per country citizen there have been purchased products in amount of 367,8 manats, including food products, beverages and tobacco products in amount of 199,9 manats and non-food products in amount of 167,9 manats.
