Cargo transportation by the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor in 2021

In 2021 cargo transportation in Azerbaijan side of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor was 39627,4 thousand ton and cargo turnover 9591,5 million ton-km, 3,0 percent and 3,6 percent more than compared to 2020. 21606,6 thousand ton or 54,5 percent of cargo was transported by automobile transport, 13462,8 thousand ton or 34,0 percent by railway transport, 4558,0 thousand ton or 11,5 percent by sea transport.

22,3 percent or 8826,3 thousand ton of cargo transportation by corridor was transit cargo.
