Distribution of natural gas in January-July 2022

Taking into account resources for the beginning of the current year the volume of marketable natural gas resources in January-July 2022 made 20406.3 million cubic meters. 86.3% of the resources was formed from production and 13.7% from the surplus. 31.8% of natural gas was consumed, 55.6% exported, 2.0% losses and 10.6% remained as resource for the beginning of July.

62.9% of natural gas within the country was used for production needs and 37.1% sold to population.   

In January-July 2022 11350.3 million cubic meters or compared to corresponding period of 2021 more for 26.2% of natural gas was exported.

2404.0 million cubic meters or compered to corresponding period of 2021 more for 1.9% of natural gas was consumed by population, of which 38.0% was per the share of Baku city, 3.2% - Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 10.9% - Absheron-Khizi,6.2% - Ganja-Dashkesen, 6.0% - Lankaran-Astara,5.7% - Central Aran, 5.7% - Gazakh-Tovuz, 5.0% - Shaki-Zagatala, 4.9% - Guba-Khachmaz, 4.5% - Karabakh, 3.8% - Mil-Mughan, 3.7% - Shirvan-Salyan and 2.4% - Daghlig Shirvan economic regions.
