During the closing ceremony, Mr. Rauf Salimov, Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee, and Ms. Haeryun Kim, Director of the International Cooperation Department of Statistics Korea, delivered opening speeches.

It was emphasized that the collaboration with KOSTAT, ongoing since 2018, has significantly boosted user confidence in the State Statistical Committee and played a crucial role in enhancing human capacity and yielded practical results in the continued development of the statistical system.

Regarding the project's accomplishments, Mr. Jonghwan Kim, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Korea Statistics Promotion Institute, highlighted the training sessions conducted as part of the "Strengthening the regional statistical capacity" project. These training sessions took place in Daejeon, Korea, and Baku in August and September of the current year. This training room, equipped with modern information technology, can accommodate 16 participants and is suitable for both live and online events.
