Distribution of natural gas in January-June 2023

Taking into account resources for the beginning of the current year the volume of marketable natural gas resources in January-June 2023 made 18177,8 million cubic meters. 29,9% of the resources was consumed, 56,5% - exported, 1,5% - losses and 12,1% remained as resource for the beginning of July.

59,6% of natural gas consumed within the country was used for production needs and 40,4% sold to population.

In January-June 2023 11800,0 million cubic meters or compared to corresponding period of 2022 more for 4,0% of natural gas was exported.

2527,7 million cubic meters or compered to corresponding period of the previous year more for 5,1% of natural gas was consumed by population, of which 38,6% was per the share of Baku city, 2,8% - Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 11,3% - Absheron-Khizi, 6,1% - Ganja-Dashkesen, 5,9% - Lankaran-Astara, 5,9% - Gazakh-Tovuz, 5,7% - Central Aran, 5,0% - Guba-Khachmaz, 4,9% - Shaki-Zagatala, 4,5% - Karabakh, 3,6% - Mil-Mughan, 3,4% - Shirvan-Salyan and 2,4% - Daghlig Shirvan economic regions.
