Changes in prices of consumer market
Consumer price index in November 2024 compared to November 2023 became 104,4%, including food products, beverages and tobacco products 104,4%, non-food products 102,2% and paid services provided to population 106,0%.
In November 2024, the consumer price index was 100,7% compared to the previous month and in January-November – 102,0% compared to corresponding period of the previous year.
In November 2024, consumer price index for food products, beverages and tobacco products became 101,4% in comparison with the previous month and in January-November – 101,0% in comparison with corresponding period of the previous year.
In November of the current year compared to the previous month, more increase was observed in prices of several food products such as long rice, oat groats, beef, canned fish, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, egg, table margarine, butter, sunflower and corn oil, banana, grape, nut, hazelnut, chestnut, cabbage, greens, tomato, cucumber, sweet pepper, eggplant, garlic, onion, potato, black and green tea, while the decrease was observed in the prices of fresh fish, lemon, orange, mandarin, apple, quince, pomegranate, persimmon, kiwi, beet, carrot. No significant changes were observed in prices of other food products.
In November 2024, consumer price index for non-food products made 100,2% compared to the previous month and in January-November – 101,5% compared to corresponding period of the previous year. In November, in comparison with the previous month, an increase was observed in prices of non-food products such as clothes, construction materials, furniture, jewelry products, while the decrease was observed in the prices of mobile phone, notebook and household appliances. No significant changes were noticed in prices of other non-food products.
In November 2024, consumer price index for paid services provided to population was 100,2% compared to the previous month and in January-November – 103,8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In November, compared to previous month, an increase in the prices of paid services provided to population was mainly observed in the prices of medical lab services, dental, hairdressing and cosmetology services, passenger transportation services by air to countries other than the CIS countries, while a decrease was observed in passenger transportation by air to CIS countries. No significant changes were observed in prices of other paid services.
