Representatives of the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic studied the experience of the State Statistical Committee.

From November 13 to 17, 2023, a delegation from the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic had a study visit to Baku. The visit included training sessions at the State Statistical Committee on November 13-15 and at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics on November 16-17.

During the training at the State Statistical Committee, the Kyrgyz representatives received insights into various aspects of Azerbaijan’s National Statistical System. Topics covered included administrative data in the production of official statistics and the use of Big Data, the implementation of quality management systems and quality control tables in statistics, the utilization of information technologies in the collection and processing of statistical data, the dissemination of statistical information, and the organization of public relations. Presentations covered the activities of the Center for Scientific Research and Statistical Innovations, the organization of sample statistical surveys, the application of innovative methods in official statistics, and training programs for employees. Discussions also addressed issues related to the publication and enhancement of the scientific-practical journal “Statistical News”, fostering a detailed exchange of views.
