Chairman of the State Statistical Committee received the mission of the International Monetary Fund on Azerbaijan

The Chairman of the State Statistical Committee – Arif Valiyev received the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Azerbaijan in the 4th of March, 2013. In the meeting with the leadership of the State statistical Committee was carried out exchange of views on the theme of recommendations of recent technical assistance mission on SNA and view to inflation. Also level of GDP in the sector of non-oil, calculation methodology on the base of expenditures of GDP, volume of state investments and cooperation between Azerbaijan and IMF in different directions were discussed during the meeting.
In his speech Chairman of the State Statistical Committee Mr. Arif Valiyev noted that, he got acquainted with the report of expert mission on recent technical assistance and he informed the guests that in the next meeting of board will be discussed the comments to the reports.
In his speech Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission on Azerbaijan Mr. Raja Al Marzugi has noted his expect on rapid development of cooperation between State Statistical Committee and IMF.
