Representative of the State Statistical Committee participated in the third Working Meeting of the Technical Advisory Group on Population and Social Statistics
As member of Technical Advisory Group (TAG) on Population and Social Statistics Deputy Head of Labour Statistics Department – Nemat Khuduzade participated in the third meeting held on 6-8 March, 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Experts of 10 member countries – Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Mongolia, Philippine and 7 international organization - (ILO, UNDP, UNODC, Organization on Education, Science and Culture, as well as Asia Development Bank, UNESCAP and others) were participated in the meeting.
Main purpose of the meeting was the discussion of project on indicators system on Population and Social Statistics approved by the third session held on 12-14 December, 2012 of the Committee on Statistics of UNESCAP and working plan of TAG.
This project on indicators system covers indicators on population, health, incomes and expenditures of households, poverty, employment, education, dwelling and infrastructure, information and communication, crime, family and society, culture and leisure time and state management statistics.
Representative of the State Statistical Committee was presented the presentation on the theme of “Indicators System on Population and Social Statistics – National perspectives” and it was carried out discussions on this theme.
