Leading advisor of the Department of National Accounts and Macro-Economic Indicators Statistics of the Republic of Azerbaijan Alida Alpashayeva participated in the two weeks course on the System of Macroeconomic Accounts Statistics and the Linkages (JV13.28) organized by the Statistical Department of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Institute of Capacity Building of International Monetary Fund (IMF) on 9-20 September, 2013 in Joint Vienna Institute.
The course was headed by Mr. Robert Dippelsman (Deputy Division Chief of Government Finance Statistics Div/STA, Senior Economist of the Division of Payments Mr. Jose Carlos Moreno and Expert Anne Harrison. The course were intended for the specialists of national statistical bodies of CIS and Eastern Europe countries and 15 country statistical bodies, central bank and 29 representatives from ministry of finance participated in the course. The course was dedicated to the systems of national accounts statistics, government finance statistics, and relations between monetary and financial statistics.
The program of the course was organized in a form of lectures, practical trainings and discussions dedicated to the actual questions.
At the end of the course participants were informed about the integration and analysis, methods and standards of data dissemination.
