Training course on National Accounts held in Tbilisi, Georgia

Representatives of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan I. Huseynova – Head adviser of Department of National Accounts and Macro-economic Indicators Statistics and M. Mammadova and P.Huseynova Advisers of the same Department participated in the training course on National Accounts organized by Eurostat and Adetef on 12-16 May, 2014 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The training was carried out by specialized 4 experts on System of National Accounts from Statistics of Finland.
26 representatives from 12 countries participated in the training. They were representatives of Statistical Bodies of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Georgia and Mongolia.
The course covered the following topics: General features of the System of NA; System of National Accounts (SNA), European System of Accounts (ESA), History and future of National Accounts, From SNA93 to SNA2008, Administrative use of NA, Basic concepts, Supply and Use Tables, Volume measurement, Non‐financial sector accounts, Financial sector accounts.
