Azerbaijan was represented in European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics (Q2014)

Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Y.Yusifov and Head of Department of Quality Management and Information Technologies – G.Aliyev participated in the European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics organized by EFTA, Eurostat and Austrian Statistical Office on 2-5 June, 2014 in Vienna, Austria.
The main purpose of the conference was quality policy in world countries, quality management and assessment criteria of quality, management of human resources, administrative sources, official statistics, population register and study, discussion of recent developments in the field of statistical legislation and others.
During the conference Y.Yusifov presented presentation on issues of quality assurance: conceptual approach and implemented works (experience of Azerbaijan). Presentation covered themes on international challenges, fundamental principles, standards, codex and criterion, assessment, methodologies, new approach and different contents, international comparability, systems approach, interrelation and others. The presentation was published as thesis in the book and uploaded to the web page of European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics.
