Meeting on Specification of the initial prices of investment goods in the frame of International Comparison Program held in Moscow

Representative of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elman Gasimzade - Head of Department of Price Statistics participated in the Meeting on Specification of the initial prices of investment goods in the frame of International Comparison Program held on 18-20 November, 2014 in Moscow.
The meeting was organized by the coordinator of this project CIS Interstate Statistical Committee and Russia Federal State Statistics Service (ROSSTAT).
Representatives of statistical bodies of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan also, CIS Statistical Committee participated in the meeting.
The main purpose of the meeting was discussion of initial prices of investment goods.
During the meeting prices of 481 products from 17 goods group and Following initial prices of investment goods were discussed during the meeting: “Engine, pumps and compressors”, “Machinery and equipment for a common purpose”, “Agricultural equipment”, “Tools”, “Metallurgy, mining industry and machine and equipment used in construction”, “Machinery and equipment intended for the manufacture of food products”, “Equipment for textile and light industry”, “other machinery and equipment for the special destination”, “Office equipment”, “Computers”, “Electric equipment”, “Communication equipment”, “Health and optical equipment”, “Other equipment”, “Trailers and automobiles”, “Software” and others.
At the end of the meeting came to an agreement of sending the results of specifications on goods till the end of March, 2015.
