The 12th meeting of the SPECA Working Group on Statistics was held in Dushanbe

Organizing by United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the European Free Trade Association, the 12th session of the Working Group on Statistics on SPECA (Special Program for the Economic Development of Central Asian Countries) was held on 24-26 October in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

At the meeting of the working group, achievements gained in measuring the Sustainable Development Goals, the use of administrative information for statistical purposes and priorities for future activities in this direction were discussed. Representatives of the UN Economic Commission for Europe, the European Free Trade Association and invited international experts informed participants of the event about the explanation of administrative information, the benefits of their use, the access to information sources, the integration of data, as well as the administrative information contained in the statistical register are informed during the meeting.
