The 66th plenary session of the European Conference of Statistics was held in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 18-20, 2018. Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan Rauf Salimov attended the event. During the session, Poland, Israel, New Zealand, Slovakia hosted seminars on the importance and coverage of official statistics by the UN ESC and on statistics improvement in Albania, Mexico, Montenegro, Netherlands. At the same time, seminars focused on gender statistics, risk assessment of social exclusion, expansion of coverage of statistics, shortcomings in this area and other issues.
