The State Statistical Committee is represented in the 20th International Conference of Labour Statisticians in Geneva
20th International Conference of Labour Statisticians (ICLS) organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) is held in Geneva, Switzerland, 10-19 October 2018. Nemat Khuduzada, Head of the Department of Labour is also attending the conference with 375 representatives from 36 international organizations and 140 countries.
The revision of the International Classification of Status in Employment, update on the implementation of the 19th ICLRS Resolution concerning statistics of work, employment and labour underutilization, statistical standards to measure labour migration and forced labour, statistical descriptions of sustainable development goals indicators for decent labour, their assessment methods and other issues are supposed to be discussed at the meeting.
At the same time, the expanding of the existing standards for the statistical evaluation of the relationship between the employee and the employer in accordance with the requirements of the labour market covering all types of labour activity within the border of the general production of the national accounts system, the draft resolution on the labour relations statistics submitted by the International Labour Organization to the conference for enhancing them will also be discussed at the conference.
