Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland national statistical institutions is being expanded

Mr. Gasim Aliyev, Head of Department of Statistical Coordination and Strategic Planning and Mr. Nuru Suleymanov, Head of Department of National Accounts and Macro-Economic Indicators Statistics of the Administration of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, have business meetings in the Poland Central Statistical Office during 2-5 October 2018 to study best international experience in the field of organization and development of business statistics for the purpose of implementation of the “State Program on Improvement of Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018-2025” approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 14, 2018, No 3672.

Issues related with coordination of works in the field of conduction of business register, organization of statistical surveys on business statistics, data collection, processing, formation of database of statistical units, as well as short-term and structural business statistics are being discussed during the mission.

Along with experts of Poland Central Statistical Office the representatives of Poznan and Lublin regional statistical offices take also part in the discussions.

The experience gained in the result of the mission is planned to be used in identifying the new development trends of business statistics in Azerbaijan.
