Representative of the State Statistical Committee participated in the training conducted in Lithuania

On 12-15 March 2019 delegation of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the training on business register quality issues organized at the Statistics Lithuania within ongoing Project “EU Support to the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan to reach European standards”.

During the training the Lithuania’s experience on the role of business register in organization of statistical surveys, establishment of the register exhaustive database structure and constant updating the information, identification of active statistical units based on the register, transition from the concept of “statistical unit” to the concept of “enterprises”, use of register data in population census, organization of the work with administrative data sources and etc. will be learned.
