Cargo transportation by the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor in 2022

In 2022 cargo transportation in Azerbaijan side of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia Transport Corridor was 51420,6 thousand ton and cargo turnover 12648,9 million ton-km, 29,8 percent and 31,9 percent more compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. 27966,8 thousand ton or 54,4 percent of cargo was transported by automobile transport, 16841,2 thousand ton or 32,7 percent by railway transport, 6612,6 thousand ton or 12,9 percent by sea transport.

26,5 percent or 13634,6 thousand ton of cargo transportation by corridor was transit cargo.
